If you live in the USA, you have the choice of two health insurance plans covering:
- Preventive care
- Emergency and urgent care visits
- Hospital stays
- Labs and diagnostic tests
- Specialist doctor visits
- Mental health care (yup!)
- And comprehensive prescription drug coverage
We also cover your dependents. And you get in and out-of-network coverage in all states.
For folks working on the Canadian side of the border, the health insurance benefits are about the same. The only difference is all our health insurance plans are currently administered by Canada Life while folks in America are covered by Florida Blue.
Specialty Health Programs
With our plan, you get a specialty health program along with your health insurance. This allows you and your dependents access to telehealth services. The specialty health program is great for avoiding the wait in clinic waiting rooms, and the ability to speak to a doctor 24/7 who can diagnose non-urgent conditions, give medical advice and write prescriptions.
All About Dental and Vision Insurance
Dental and vision insurance aren’t forgotten.
On both sides of the border, our dental insurance plans cover you all the way from preventive dental care to more extensive dental care. We also cover your dependents, 100%!
Vision insurance is no different. You and your dependents get 100% coverage for eye exams and lenses. Note that if you work in the United States, the coverage is yearly. If you work in Canada, you get full coverage on eye exams and lenses every two years.
Every associate is eligible for a $50,000 Employee Life Insurance plan. It’s at $0 cost to you. We sponsor it 100%. And you know what else? You can extend this coverage to your dependents.
Paid Vacation and Sick Leave
Work-life balance means a lot to us.
Whether you are north or south of the Canada-American border, you get paid vacation and sick leave. Paid leave is accrued for every hour you work and can be used at any time.
Employee Assistance Programs
You get access to a bouquet of services that help you and your family members succeed in your personal and professional lives.

Associates working in the United States can access the traditional and Roth 401(k) retirement plans from their first day on the job. These retirement plans are administered through Blue Shield.
